István Fenyvesi
István Fenyvesi is the Publications Consultant for MDAC. He holds an MA in English language and literature from ELTE University in Budapest, Hungary. He also received professional training in graphic design and layout at the training centre of Hungarian daily Népszabadság, as well as studied music at the Lvov Academy of music (Ukraine). Between 1995 and 1998 István worked for the Constitutional and Legislative Policy Institute of OSI Budapest and took part in various legal projects implemented in CIS countries.
Then, for eight years, he worked at the European Roma Rights Center (ERRC) where he was involved in a number of activities, such as project management, desktop and field research, publications, Roma rights advocacy. At ERRC, István took part in the design of ERRC Publications programme and in the production of over 50 ERRC publications. Between 2004 and March 2006, he was responsible for a project in Ukraine and coordinated the human rights activities and development of 15 Romani organisations, as well as litigation and advocacy efforts.
